Mocha Protein Balls
Makes 12 balls
150g almond meal
8 medjool dates
60g Protein Supplies Australia Limited Release Coffee WPI
½ cup coconut
1 heaped tablespoon cacao powder
Approximately 1/3 cup espresso
Combine the first five ingredients in a food processor and blend to form a crumb texture. While the blender is going, slowly add the espresso until the mixture comes together. You may need a little more or less espresso, depending on the consistency of your mixture. Roll into walnut sized balls. Roll some of the balls in a little extra coconut, some in a little extra cacao and leave some plain.
Nutritional information (per ball): 575 kilojoules, 137 calories, 7g protein, 10g fat, 3g saturated fat, 4g carbohydrate.
